Karibu was honoured to be a finalist in the 2009 ‘Best Mobile Safari Operator in Africa’ category of Safari Awards . Finalists are among the top 3% in Africa.
Jimmy started working for Karibu in 1998 as a guide. Since 1999 he has been in charge of operations. From time to time he still enjoys doing safaris, especially in the Skeleton Coast area .
Cintia has been working as a tour guide in Namibia since 2003. She has been in charge of reservations at Karibu Namibia since 2006. She has a degree in Psychology and Anthropology and is especially interested in different cultures.
Taedza started working for Karibu in 2003 as a guide. Today he is our Operations Manager.
Lourens started with Karibu Safari in 2005 as a tour guide. He is very knowledgeable and has a passion for birds. He mainly guides our Classic Namibia Safari.
Elago has been working as a freelance guide for Karibu since 2007. Before that he worked for the Ministry of Environment and Tourism as a field guide on the Waterberg plateau.
Josia has been working as a guide for Karibu since 2007.
Josef has been working for Karibu since 1994. He started with us as a trainee camp assistant. He perfected the skills in bush cooking and he is now our camp manager on the Classic Namibia Safari
Cornelius started working for Karibu in 2000 as an assistant. He is now Karibu's mechanic and driver.
Jason has been working for Karibu as an assistant/cook since 1994. He has ample knowledge of bush cooking.
Moses has been working as an assistant/cook and driver for Karibu since 1994.
Richard is a qualified chef who gained his bush cooking knowledge in Botswana before joining Karibu Namibia in 2013. He cooks mainly on our Classic Safari.
Jack started working for Karibu Namibia in 2005 as an assistant, mainly on our Classic Namibia Safari.
Justus has been working as an assistant/ cook for Karibu Namibia since 2009. Before that he worked for other companies also as an assistant.
George has been working for Karibu as an assistant since 2008.
